During the poor global economy it is true that the video game market is very robust and is doing the best when compared to other markets. Nintendo Wii became most popular because of its innovative motion control but however, its sales of the Wii have started to slump. Sony tried its launching of PS3 console to offer its own motion control through its standard game controllers but it was ignored by many gamers. Then Sony has been talking about its new motion controller that was expected to hit the market but it was delayed too.

Now Sony is ready with its new motion controller called play- station move which contains three pieces, to count the motion controller, the sub-controller, and the playstation eye camera. This enables the player while playing to detect precise movement, angle and accurate 3D position. More over, Sony announces that this controller has much accuracy with a three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer, and a terrestrial magnetic field sensor with color changing ball that the playstation eye camera follows. The system allows the player to feed inputs to the game with action buttons and an analog trigger. The rumble feedback and colors are obtained from the sphere attached to the move controller.

The move sub-controller is the device which can be used in one hand with an analog stick. It is also having the directional buttons for controlling a game character. Power for this device comes from a lithium-ion battery. Sony announces that about 20 games will be launched by this year and at least 36 game developers will dedicatedly support it around the world.
Specifications:
Sony has introduced its move controller with its product code CECH-ZCM1. The retail price of the same is not finalized at this time. Move controller weight will be 145g and size of 200mm x 46mm. The move sub-controller is having its product code CECH-ZCS1. For this sub controller also Sony has not come to the conclusion in fixing its market selling price so far. 138mm x 42mm is the size of the sub controller. Several other companies support the move system and which includes Disney Interactive, Activision and many more.
