How to use Google Buzz

There are many social networking sites available in this wide and broad internet world but of course very few are well known in all aspects i.e. service and options available with them. Another major giant has launched its foot into these kinds of services with additional features and that is nothing but our well known GOOGLE. Google has launched its BUZZ this week which is expected to create another revolution like orkut and Gmail.

What is BUZZ?

So what this service does? BUZZ can be used in a PC or from a MOBILE DEVICE which is a mixture of RSS and all our social networking services. This entire framework exists inside our Gmail and Google.

Major Features of BUZZ:

1. You need not add any friend to your account since your list will be updated automatically when you send e-mail to someone. You will start following all your friends to whom you have mailed and also the vice versa i.e. they will follow you as well.

2. BUZZ comes with PICASSA and TWITTER integrated with it which makes BUZZ an effective media for resource sharing.

3.You can share things more efficiently i.e. both public and private. BUZZ automatically updates dynamically your updates instead of sending e-mails to you every time. Just set up your thread and relax.

How to use BUZZ?

1. All that you need to do initially is to setup your profile. When you click BUZZ from your inbox or through Google it will ask you to enter your NAME and PICTURE. Once you complete this your BUZZ profile will be created

2. Create a public post for your profile. When you click continue it will show a TEXT BOX in which you can enter your message. In the same tab it will ask you to enter your PHOTO which you can do or else insert a LINK so that BUZZ will pick all the photos available in that LINK. Select PUBLIC in the drop and continue. (You can also select PRIVATE from the drop down. Read 4th point for more info)

3. Once your Post is published all your FOLLOWERS (will automatically added but still you can add manually too) can see your post and they can leave their comments on the post.

Tip: If you want to get comments directly to your INBOX ask your followers to add @ symbol before all the comments.

4. When you select PRIVATE in the 2nd step you can select what kind of users i.e. friends or family can view your post.

5. External sites like PICASSA and GOOGLE READER is added by default but still you can also link external sites like TWITTER FLICKR and CHAT STATUS to Google BUZZ. Only these sites can be added as if now.

Tip: Use the twitter account name and link to the BUZZ so that every tweet will be published in BUZZ

6. BUZZ can also be accessed from mobile phones by using the URL: buzz.google.com

An overall view shows that the BUZZ looks like a combination of TWITTER and FACEBOOK.
