While life gets hectic, there is something that you can do about keeping your income via blogging that you had been doing while looking for better opportunities. This is when I found that allowing others to blog for you on your website would help you not to lose the traffic. When you allow others to blog on your website, then you will find that you are blogging in their website as a guest.
In other words, you can do it the other way. Creating a blog and trying to drive the traffic in, working hard on ad sense, marketing and many other tricks and tips for making your blog popular, you have an alternative way of making money using your blogging skills – BLOG FOR OTHERS!

Blogging for others is a simple way for non-technical person who have good writing skills to make money online. However, when you are guest blogging, reviewing others blogs or commenting on others blogs, there are a number of etiquettes that you should follow. This will increase your credibility and demand as a guest blogger.
Some of the mandatory guest blogging etiquette are:
1. Be Polite:
every request made for guest blogging is like the offer letter that you will receive for an interview or is like the appointment letter. What you need to do is to respond back to those requests with the same level of professionalism that you will do so with others. Reply to the request for acceptance or rejection politely.
2. Follow the directions and requirements:
When you are guest blogging and have accepted the offer, then follow the instructions carefully. Of course, to err is human, but you can stick onto to certain etiquettes like keeping to the mode of communication as preferred by the blogger. This is because many a times as a guest blogger you will find that the blogger will be moderating the posts and will be the deciding authority for the posts to be published. Therefore, is good to avoid open comments and posts while guest blogging.
3. Quality matters:
This is essential to maintain the quality of the content. In this context, the criterion that will be considered to evaluate the quality of the content will be the relevancy to the topic, the uniqueness of the content and the length of the article. A well-researched and succinctly written article is equivalent to an original article written by an expertise.
4. Provide links:
This helps to increase the SEO optimization of the articles written and will also allow your article to be noticed. In addition, this will not only substantiates the content of your article, but also encourages other users and writers to cross cite your articles. This means you are going to use links from external resources and linking within will help to increase the reader to understand the continuity and relationship between the two relevant topics written.
5. Know the blog you write for:
every blog has a purpose. When you are writing for a blog, is better to understand the focus of the topic that they will be interested as this is what is going to help you in getting your article is successfully accepted. The reason is there are many things that you can write on a single topic, but when you blog as a guest you are going to write for someone else. Therefore, you have to write in someone else’s shoes, in a similar fashion to their thoughts.
6. Promote and Canvass:
The best thing about blogging is to promote and canvass for your articles and successful ones. Of course, not all your articles will show who you are or your notions and ideas, but you highly traffic driven articles as a guest bloggers will help to canvass yourself and the blog by increasing the traffic driven. Other bloggers looking for guest bloggers will like to employ you for your relevant and succinct writing skills and not your linguistic skills and knowledge in the subject.
7. Respond promptly:
This is not necessary that you respond to your employer or the blogger alone. This is more than welcoming to respond to the comments given by the readers, as this will encourage more readers to read your articles and will be glad to visit the site once again. In other words, you are engaging your readers. In addition, this will encourage writing more.
8. Get the name correctly:
When you are going to guest blog, you will most probably be the person to know that you are guest blogging. When you are going to use the name of the blogger who has hired you, see that you get the name correctly, for there is nothing more impolite and reckless than getting the wrong name in the blog.
9. Avoid illicit activities:
some of the probably illicit activities that can happen while blogging out of ignorance or in being over enthusiastic and to commit some grave mistake that are to be avoided: plagiarism, copyright violations, impersonation, hate speech and obscenities.
10. Original source of information:
There is a lot of difference between authenticated and recognized sites and non-spam sites but are not sites that could be used as a main source of information, for example, Wikipedia. You will be requiring using the original or authenticated source of information to write your articles, and avoid spammers.
11. Meeting deadlines:
Many of us fail this one thing. When everything goes correctly, you will find that meeting deadlines is no big issue, while when there is an increase in the workload, and when technology fails you will find this very hard to meet deadlines. I have this problem as a blogger, finding hard to meet deadlines, and I find that everytime I get into a schedule and set the tempo for meeting deadlines, sudden changes will curb your from meeting deadlines.
12. Introduce yourself in the end:
This is will be your beginning and is like the signature that you use in your emails. Whenever you submit an article see to that at the end of every article submitted and posted will have one or two lines about the author or the blogger, and provides additional details like links, social media, website, connections, etc.
Now is that you have to know of some courtesies and unwritten norms that are commonly followed by guest bloggers, you venture into guest blogging will have less hassles. Happy guest blogging and wish you all success!

Nice tips Praveen . I think few point you mentioned are very important like first understanding the platform / blog where you are going to post and what readers are actually looking at the point . I have noticed many blogs went wrong when they made when wrong niche posts and after that if you follow the comments section than you can judge how other readers got disappointing from it .
It may look like small mistake but we can lose daily readers because of it who follow us because of quality content for the niche you are blogging .
