First of all, i would like to know whether you are sure of moving from Blogger to wordpress becuase a wrong move can result in losing PR and Traffic. Also when you move make sure you delete all the old contents of Blogger as it may cause Duplicate issues.

I would suggest you to be careful with Permalinks, it is better to have old ones always

There is no need of any Plugins, you can transfer to wordpress.com and then to self hosted site using import wp plugin

Hey praveen thanks man , i am in the process of moving from blogger to word press, can you suggest which different plugins should i use for this purpose, for eg: to import post, to redirect post, import comments , to redirect traffic, it would be helpful , if you address this
