You must have heard and used many Auto tweet plug-ins for wordpress like I did but here is another cool plug-in for auto tweets. Is it same as old pals? Well, I would say this has many additional features like URL shortener and even you can monitor your Twitter traffic via WordTwit. Sounds interesting aren’t t? Yes it does.

Whenever you post anything in your blog WordTwit will automatically tweet all posts with a brief description of the post along with a link back. This will help you to get more traffic and a link as well. It is just cool when I tried this. This will definitely bring some visitors to your site in turn which will help you to get more tweets. The number of tweets will get increased as your posts spreads across Twitter Accounts.

Tweet Post with particular tags or categories:

You can configure the tweets made i.e. you can set WordTwit to tweet all the posts published or tweet posts published in certain categories or tags. Sounds cool? There is one more. WordTwit supports scheduled posts as well. You can also retweet previously published posts.

This is the best feature of this plug-in as you can create a short URL for all the tweeted posts. WordTwit supports major URL shortener services like bit.ly, ow.ly, is.gd, tiny.url. All these does not require API key except bit.ly. You can also create a custom URL which will have your Domain name followed by the created short URL.

UTM (urchin tracking module):

UTM tags can be integrated with the Google analytics code which will help you to monitor the search engine traffic and Twitter traffic separately. You can monitor the amount of flow from twitter for your site.

How to Install?

It is same as all other WordPress plug-ins. If you want to know how to install a wordpress plugin then you can read in techperk itself. When you start tweeting it for the first time the API will ask to enter your Twitter username and password. Do not get afraid to give as it will use it to establish the connection with twitter.
