5 Billion Mobile Phones by 2010 year end-ABI Research

Mobile Phones usage has grown significantly around the world in the recent past. In the 90’s beginning landline phones were famous and then after that Mobiles gradually got into the pockets of every human. It has seen a tremendous growth in the recent 2 years and now a mobile phone is an unavoidable one for all. If this situation continues then there will be people who can live without food but not without a mobile.

A recent research from ABI shows that the mobile phones connection numbers will be 5 Billion in this year end. The survey has also revealed that the growth will be mainly seen in Asia-Pacific and Africa regions. Africa is growing in all terms and Telecommunication is not an exception. On the other Hand India has nearly 600 Million Mobile users which are expected to increase in a huge scale.
