Amazon to launch Kindle Application for Android

Amazon will launch a Kindle application for Android smartphones soon which will be made compatible with Nexus One, DROID, and the HTC Incredible. The application will allow the users to preview, read books while allowing them to purchase books from Amazon’s Kindle bookstore.

Kindle application for android comes with the Whispersync technology which automatically synchronizes the last read, notes, bookmarks across the kindle compatible devices. There is no date specified as the launch date. Subscribe in amazon to know the updates then and now.
