Two trusted sources from Amazon have leaked news that Amazon will release a new thinner kindle in the August. The new device will be much thinner than the devices available now but it will come with a better responsive screen. They both refused to show their identity as this may become a security issue.

They also said that the new e-reader will give more sharp pictures to the users but not with a color or touchscreen this time. Amazon has sold little over 3.3 Million e-readers after its launch in 2007. Things have changed a lot as Apple and Sony are giving tough competition to the Kindle manufacturer. Amazon witnessed a fall in share yesterday which has to be definitely noted by Amazon.

There is no clear reason why this device will not be a colored one or a touchscreen model. Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon said that “color display screen is “some ways out.”
