The most awaited product for this year had already hit the stores of US, though it is not still available outside US. Stores in US ha started selling the first 15 units though less crowd were witnessed this time than iPhone’s launch. People around the world were seen in the stores.
The first generation model has wi-fi but not 3G connectivity, and unlike other tablet. Apple will start shipping ipad from April 12th. It is available at the rate for $499 – $829 US Dollars.

“It’s going to be a huge hit among a very small section of the public – Mac lovers and early adopters,” said the BBC’s technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones.

It is going to give all smart phones a tough competition but the level of persistance is going to be a big question.
