Facebook videos are now playing in Apple iPad so which has created a confusion that iPad supports flash videos. There was a change in facebook videos which was expected to be the implementation of HTML 5 but it seems that they have never turned their face towards it. Apple iPad can play facebook videos in full screen when accessed through the default browser Opera. Many iPad users and bloggers mailed facebook about the changes and what they made other than HTML 5. An e-mail reply from facebook stated that the videos are changed to h264 format since Apple’s iPad can play this.
When a video is tried to play in iPad it changes to .MP4 format automatically i.e., gets transcoded. Apple iPad doesn’t support flash videos due to which it was unable to play facebook videos but this transcoding can help ipad to play videos. But still some say that it is not playing all the videos but one thing is made sure that iPad doesn’t support flash videos.
