Apple becomes the leading mobile phone manufacturer in US says Forbes. According to the latest Q1 results of Apple it has sold 8.7 Million iPhones in US where as Motorola has sold only 8.5 Million phones which also includes 2.3 Million smartphones.

It is definitely a tremendous growth by Apple in the past because Motorola was dominating the US market before 4 years and was selling near to 46 Million every quarter.
