Apple to Purchase ARM?

Sources say that Apple is going to purchase ARM Holdings for a price of $8 billion USD pretty soon. An important thing to be noted is that ARM produces processors and they are behind all smartphones including Apple’s iPhone.

This rumor started when London Evening Standard released news stating that Apple has plans to buy. This news creates a doubt that Apple is planning to block the processors that ARM supplies to other smartphones and especially for Android OS smart phones.

Hot fight between Google is also making Apple think about using the $25 billion cash reserve and buy ARM. Also Apple can implement their plan of Apple-ized processors.
