Apple sold more than 1 Million iPads

Apple has sold 1 million ipads in just 28 days which is nearly half the number of days it took to sell 1 million iPhones. An official blog is published stating the above information. Apple sold out the milestone unit on last Friday which was the day iPad 3G started its shipping.

“One million iPads in 28 days—that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

In these 28 days there were 12 Million applications download from the App Store and 1.5 Million e-books were downloaded from the iBook store as well. Now the sale count would have crossed a Million as this was the case last Friday.
