ATM hacker Thor Morris used ‘Barack Obama’ as his name

ATM hacker Thor Morris, a 19-year old guy from NC was arrested by FBI last month. He was arrested as he tried to re-program the ATM machines and had plans to debit more than $300,000 USD from a particular brand ATM Machines. He had plans of re-programming 35 ATM machines.

He was arrested when he tried to do so in a Machine in Houston. FBI was clever enough to smell his plans and acted accordingly. One of the FBI agents Karen Ann said “planned to use a confidential operator’s manual to reprogram a specific brand of ATM so that the machine would issue $20 for every $1 requested.”

Now after a month FBI has found that Morris used the name as Barack Obama to activate the $400 “Walmart Green Dot PrePaid card,” and also he has given a Washington DC address which goes us “1600 Pennsylvania Avenue”. Morris was planning to hack the machines using the card but he was trapped before that by FBI.
