Borders new Kobo e-reader

Borders have come up with its new Kobo e-reader which will ship from June 17th. Pre-Orders for the units starts from today which can be booked for $150 with additional shipping charges if any.

This e-book reader does not have Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity and comes with 6-inch screen with 8 levels of gray. Connectivity is taken care by Bluetooth and a default memory of 1GB is present which can be expanded by the SD slot present.

Absence of Wi-Fi and 3G is definitely a drawback for the reader and also all other rivals comes with 16 levels of gray in the screen. These 2 disadvantages are suppressed by the price which is only $150.
