Disposable Email Address mail from yahoo-can someone explain?

Yahoo has sent an e-mail in which speaks about disposable e-mail address. The user who got the e-mail has sent that to the Techcrunch as he was unable to understand. Even the Techcrunch guys were unable to understand so that made them to announce a T-shirt as prize for those who explain the mail. Even techcrunch tried mailing yahoo about the clarification but they got a disappointing reply that yahoo will get back to them soon regarding this issue.

I tried 5 times but unable to understand things so I left trying it. Here are the details of the mail. If any one can understand what is this then please explain it here.

Subject: Change notification for your Disposable Email address
You may have been receiving emails to your Disposable Email Address with other yahoo domains, even though your email address ends with @yahoo.com. In order to improve the accuracy of emails received by you in your right accounts, you will no longer be receiving emails to any other domain that you did not sign up with. You will only receive emails to your Disposable Email Address: XXXXXXX-[keyword]@yahoo.com.
Please make sure you provide the right Disposable Email Addresses so you continue to receive the emails.
To confirm your existing Disposable Email Address:
1. In Yahoo! Mail, go to “Options,” then “More Options”
2. From the menu on the left, click “Disposable Email Address.” If you don’t see this option, “Spam” and “Set up a disposable address”
Thank you,
