Facebook Banned in Mantralaya

Facebook is really facing hard time it seems. It was banned in Pakistan and Bangladesh earlier now this time in India. The Times of India has reported that the Government of Maharashtra has blocked Facebook in the headquarters the Mantralaya.

The move came because of a filed complaint against the employees. The IT department of Mantralaya banned it as the employees used Facebook during the Work Hours. This has created an agitation among the employees as they claim they use FB only in the lunch hours. Senior officials have said that FB will remain blocked as Internet must be used only for official purposes even during lunch hours.

What do you think? Is this a good move?
