T mobile has officially confirmed that they will be providing free phones for those who join for a family plan on June 19th. The A.P reports that on Saturday beginning at 8 am the new customers will be able to get the free hand sets of their choice by signing up for a family plan.

The report also stated that the current T mobile customers can convert their single user plan into family plan by adding at least one user or adding lines to the family plan they already have. There is a option to get five free phone in a single family plan though each will come with a two year contract. The deal includes the higher end devices like BlackBerry Bold 9700, HTC my touch 3G slide and the Android Garmifone. The deal will retail for around $200 with a 2 year contract.
