Google Command Line Tool available now

Google has introduced a Command line tools especially for its Developers on Friday. The CL is available for Mac, Linux and Windows. Installation in Linux is easy and they have given steps to install it as well. While if you have MacPorts or homebrew software then Mac is not a big deal. For installation in Windows users need to uninstall the zip file in a particular location and must run commands in the terminal to activate the tool. It will prompt Google username and password upon entering it you can search from the command prompt. No need of browsers.

It will allow accessing other Google applications like blogger, docs, calendar, Picasa and YouTube. This tool will help to upload videos in YouTube and edit Documents in the Docs.

Google engineer Jason Holt says that Google CL is a command line utility which will allow accessing the Google services.
