HTC HD2 Android Porting Overcomes Big Hurdle

The good news about HD2 is that it is one of the most gorgeous pieces of smart phone hardware ever released. However, the use of this hardware is restricted if it is still going to gear up with the dead OS known as Windows Mobile 6.5 in the power user community. Some of the salvage power users are using this software to shoehorn Android on there. But the phone has some error in its Snapdragon core that tripped up and the so-called HaRET tool used to boot Linux from Windows CE-based devices have made a proper port seem impossible.
