The Desire is coming to the handful of the regional American carriers later this year. But what if the user wants whether smaller, sleeker or the more aluminum clad Legend. Well there are not carrier branded options in the States but apparently number of unlocked units with US 3G bands is starting to come out of the cracks.

Negri Electronics has an 850/ 1900 MHz 3G Legend in its store. The Legend is under $500 which means that the user is not getting any discount for the more powerful 850/1900 MHz version of the Nexus One. But the customers are getting a pretty sweet unibody shell and an optical d-pad.
