India’s $35 Android tablet to go live from January

We all pretty well know that Indian Government is planning to launch a $35 Android Tablet soon. We have got news now that the 7-inch Android Tablet will hit the market in January. The exact date of the launch will be 10th of January 2011. We have also heard that the Tablet’s price may further get reduced to be around $25 depending on the subsidies available. The whole order has been given to the HCL Technologies.

The Tablet will have access to the Internet with which the students can see the YouTube Videos and much more. The Device will have an internal memory of 2GB, Wi-Fi and will come in different sizes. The Government of India is also planning to launch a website on this which will be done before the actual launch.
