Intel has announced that it has ported Google’s Android OS to Atom Chips, which is their product. This announcement came out in the last Intel Developer Forum in Beijing. “Intel is enabling all OSes for Atom phones,” said Renee James, SVP and general manager of Intel’s software and services group.

He also stated that this is a wish by some of Intel’s customers and this is done at the right moment as well.
