Intel releases faster Core i5, i7 mobile chips

Intel has come up with quite a few upgrades this week by enhancing the feature of its mobile processors. The Core i7 940XM is the fastest chip available in Intel so far but it has been boosted up to 3.33 GHz carrying 8MB of cache. The best thing is that the same 55W power is used to run things. Intel has also announced the launch of 1.86GHz i7 840QM with 8MB cache and 1.73GHz i7 740QM with 6MB cache. These two consume not more than 55W power.

All the three are quite expensive as the price starts from $375 for 740QM in bulk and goes up to $1,096 for 940XM.
