Jailbreak iPod touch 2G

Jailbreaking is a method that allows ipad , iPhone and iPod touch users to run any software code on their devices. Once jailbreaking is done users can download any extensions and themes which were previously not available to them through App store.

With the help of software called Snowbreeze 1.6.1 for Windows and PwnageTool 4.0 for Mac users, one can create custom firmware files of iOS 4. This can be accomplished by jailbreaking iPod touch 2G.

The instructions for executing this Jailbreaking processes are similar to the earlier versions used for iPhone 3GS and 3G. All you have to do is to download iOS 4 for iPod touch and follow the instructions given. Once the firmware files are created, then you will restore it by iTunes 9.2.
