Motorola Milestone UK users can feel happy now as they got Android 2.1 Update Today. A facebook post by Motorola today had this information and their site also confirms it.

This update features wallpapers, 9 home pages and speech to text conversion feature. Now the update is available only manually but it is expected that it will be available Over The Air (OTA) by this week or next week at the max.
