Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has announced today that the company will tie up with Novatium for the launch of the Nova Navigator. This service will be available in Delhi now for Rs 4,999 and it is said that Nova Navigator will hit Mumbai before this month end.
Nova Navigator can be used for computing applications and for accessing the internet as well. This is applicable for both Linux and Windows Operating System.
Kuldeep Singh, chief managing director, MTNL, said, “ Novatium’s tie up has given the true purpose to the MTNL fixed lines and it can give a true utility for all MTNL’s customers in Computing”.
Alok Singh, chief executive officer, Novatium Solutions, said, “ Novatium is aiming at 200,000 customers by the end of 2011”
The Rs 4,999 package will give a user with a keyboard, a console and mouse with Nova computing charges which starts from Rs 249 (this excludes broadband amount for MTNL customers). Customers can also get a 160GB hard disk unit at Rs 7,099.
