Opera 10.1 beta version is now been made available for S60 3rd and 5th Edition devices. The previous version Opera Mobile 10 for Maemo was released on May.

S60 devices prefer alternate Opera Mini browser, while Opera Mobile brings in better experience of browsing than the default S60 browser. This beta version offers greater speeds and geolocation capabilities.

Opera Mobile 10.1 comes with Presto engine, Vega graphics library and Carakan Javascript engine. This will make users feel the same engine power on mobile as experienced in a desktop environment.

The other features of Opera include Speed Dial, password manager, Opera Link, Opera Turbo and tabbed browsing.
