Samsung Galaxy S gets Android 2.2

Samsung Electronics has announced that the most awaited Android 2.2 Froyo will hit the Galaxy S by this mid October. The press release by the company states the above information along with the updates the new Froyo will give the phone. The official update can be downloaded via Kies.

The new Froyo update will give the phone with a GPS navigation system with voice guidance, Search in browser, more zooming options, enhanced performance by JIT(Just in Time) compiler and the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 version.
