Sony Recalls 535,000 Vaio Laptops

Sony Corporation in Tokyo has announced that the company recalls around 535,000 Vaio laptops due to Temperature Control issue in the laptops. This will cause over heating around the laptop and it might even change the shape of the laptop. The recall is mainly made for F and C series laptops of Sony.

Sony Corp also announced that there are no complaints from Japan but there are 39 complaints from overseas. A Sony spokesman said that there will not be any issues with the earnings of the company but it is expected that the company’s earnings will go in Red after 2 years.

Sony said that existing customers can fix this by downloading the update from Vaio’s update system or from the Sony website.

This is a huge black mark for a big laptop manufacturer, isnt t? what do you all think?
