Sony Stops Floppy Drive Production in Next March

Sony, world’s biggest electronic corporation has announced that it will stop Floppy Drive production in March Next year. Sony has stopped its sales last month after it launched the first 3.5 inch- floppy disk way back in 1981. Sale is still there in certain countries like India and south East Asia.

India and Japan were the countries in which Sony made the maximum sale. Sources say that this decision by Sony is to meet up the demands of people in certain other areas. There are few who even doesn’t know how it may look like but they were used mostly to transfer data in the early 90’s.
