Sony has added a new notebook model to its VAIO family but not with much difference. It is made more attractive by releasing the model in different eye catching colors. The real addition in the P series is the addition of an optical touchpad which makes the movement pretty simple. Mouse buttons are built of LCD bezel. Another interesting feature in this model is the addition of accelerometer which makes reading documents interesting. Users can tilt the device vertically to read documents and both the side tilting is also allowed when browsing web.

VAIO P features Intel atom which varies from Z530 to Atom Z560 processor and with Windows 7 as its Operating System. GPS and digital compass makes an added advantage as well. It weighs less when compared to other notebooks as the weight is little above 600g.

It is available in the following five colors: White, Pink, Black, Orange and Green.
