Telcos to start WiMAX Services

WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is the latest technology which helps in providing high speed internet access to the mobile users. WiMAX forum chairman has told today that Telcos will use WiMAX services once the spectrum availability is completed. Telcos has won the Broadband Wireless Access (BWA).

Wimax Forum Chairman C S Rao said “The operators present in India are very much eager to launch the services soon as they all are very good in the technology.”

BWA will help in getting the High speed internet access over the TV and Indian telephony services. This is expected to be ready by 2011 End.
