I purchased a Thoshiba satellite 650 on October 2, 2010. Serial number 6A628218Q
I started revolving like a satellite from the dealer- authorized service enter- Thoshiba
representative and so on, just after 2 weeks. Because the failure of the USB port. I made it clear to the service guy that I am not ready to use a repaired laptop. If I had desired a repaired one, I would have gone for a similar one, for half the price.
Like the product, I am also convinced about the service . I rang up the toll free number and and found that
girls and boys are reading out passages for me, which they claim as “technical support”.
When I asked them one question, they were more interested to keep my mouth shut by asking 10 questions.
I wrote to the so called “Laptop care” and I got a automatic reply on the 5th day.
A person called me over the phone and talked to me in a language which I believe is English.
He was simply a waste of time. They even blocked my repeated emails.
My efforts resulted in a verbal reply that they will replace the laptop which I had purchased. I also noticed that they are avoiding communications in black and white. I purchased it on Nov. 2 2010. Till today, I have not received the replacement.
I had purchased it for about Rs. 30,000 and the BSNL data card for Rs 500 which I purchased already expired. I had to hire a laptop twice, though I own one. Thus, I already lost Rs. 2500.
The laptop was of no use to me since I purchased it. Yes, I could had made “Chappathi” using the flat surface.
Thoshiba is responsible for the dead investment. If the laptop is replaced, how can I trust it again?
Nobody from Thoshiba even bothered to say “Sorry!” so far. I do not care! because the product, the service and the people of Thoshiba
whom I met are perfect match. Moreover, the word ” Sorry” will not solve my problem.
