Windows Phone 7 to launch in October

Whether it was planned for announcement or not but the Microsoft’s VP for Marketing just mentioned during a presentation that the Windows Phone 7 will be launching this October. Unfortunately no more details about the launch.

It not so clear that whether it will be a full launch with all handsets ready for sale or a will be a soft launch where Microsoft formally announce prices and dates for the Windows Phone 7 launch. October is still dangerously far away when the user has got the iPhone 4 and the Android 2.2 raring to go. The Windows Phone 7 looks like a great mobile OS.
